SM and the 12 Inch Assassins have teamed up to bring you The “RETURN OF THE REAL” TOUR. We are bringing back REAL skills and entertainment back to the stage> not relying on special effects. We are dedicated to providing the Hip-Hop community with quality events and concerts celebrating the true culture of Hip-Hop/Black music.
The “RETURN OF THE REAL” TOUR is going to be a safe, fun, and entertaining show for today’s Hip-Hop audience. In addition to our featured line-up, each show’s featured artists can be tailor-made to suit the individual desires of each promoter, city or college campus.
“RETURN OF THE REAL” is not limited to just Hip-Hop acts and DJ exhibitions. We shall also feature R&B and Reggae performers on selected dates. “RETURN OF THE REAL” shall consistently showcase established professionals and future urban music stars that our target audience desires.
The current line-up is: BLACK STAR (Mos Def & Talib Kweli), DEAD PREZ, J-LIVE, THE RASCALZ, and G-KNIGHT. More acts are being added as we speak…………
Our DJ exhibitions shall feature acclaimed battle competition professionals> the 12 INCH ASSASSINS: DJ DUMMY, DJ RUKAS and DJ CHAPS. These DJs will be incorporated in the show as opening acts. They will serve to warm up the audience and provide excitement during the performance intermissions.
