Chesney Snow, Maya Azucena and Lisa Russell for a town hall discussion and video shoot on the modern day lynchings going on across the country. Our aim is to document an alternative and critical dialogue about the state of black men in our country that is not being covered in mass media. We want to bring our community together to help envision actions to stop this ongoing and un accounted for aggression by our country’s law enforcement. We are calling on artists to join us in this conversation.
This Friday at 7pm, we will be inviting you, our community, to share your thoughts, ideas, frustrations, etc on a live stream that will be promoted among our collective social networks. We believe we need to start documenting and facilitating the dialog this to serve as a historical record while developing resistance and solutions. And we believe our community of artists – you all – are critical in this conversation.
